Lofton has been a reliable scorer in his team's last two matchups, pouring in 24 total points on 10-for-15 shooting from the field. His contributions across the board jumped off the page Thursday, highlighted by a team-high three steals.

Walsh tallied 17 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-6 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals across 28 minutes during Thursday's 87-78 Summer League win over the Lakers.
Walsh led the charge on the offensive end for Boston, managing a bounce-back showing after being ejected during the second quarter of Monday's exhibition against Miami. He's been solid during Summer League play even with Monday's ejection, averaging 15.0 points over four appearances.

Celtics' Amari Williams: Returning to play
Williams (rest) is available for Thursday's Summer League game against the Lakers, Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe reports.
Williams was shut down for Monday's exhibition for rest purposes, but he has received the green light to suit up Thursday night. The Kentucky product is coming off a sluggish showing in his last appearance Sunday against the Knicks, recording two points, three rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes.

Celtics' Hugo Gonzalez: Poor shooting effort in SL loss
Gonzalez totaled 10 points (3-12 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds and three assists over 27 minutes in Monday's 100-96 Summer League loss to the Heat.
Gonzalez struggled with his shot for a second consecutive game and is now 7-for-24 from the field and 4-for-12 from three-point range in Summer League play. The No. 28 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft spent last season competing with Real Madrid in EuroLeague.

Celtics' Baylor Scheierman: Splashes four threes
Scheierman finished with 19 points (7-18 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine assists, five steals and three rebounds over 32 minutes in Monday's 100-96 Summer League loss to the Heat.
Scheierman wasn't incredibly efficient Monday, but he showcased his shooting range by knocking down four three-pointers and fell one assist short of a double-double. The guard is seeing extended minutes this Summer League after appearing in 31 regular-season games with the Celtics last season, when he averaged 3.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists while shooting 35.5 percent in 12.4 minutes per game.

Bassey put on a show Sunday in the Las Vegas Summer League, as he was getting it done on both ends of the floor. The Western Kentucky product has no shortage of experience, having played for the 76ers and Spurs over the last four years, but he's now in limbo as he tries to prove his worth and secure another deal to remain in the league for the 2025-26 campaign.

Scheierman had an impressive all-around performance Sunday, although he continued to struggle from distance. Nevertheless, the fact he came two rebounds and two assists shy of recording a triple-double -- while also finishing with a game-high three swipes -- is naturally encouraging. The Creighton product saw relatively sparse opportunity during his 2024-25 rookie campaign, appearing in 31 regular-season games and averaging 3.6 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 12.4 minutes per contest.
